Imagine having the job of actually cutting into a wedding dress! I couldn’t cope with the thought of doing that but luckily I am not in charge of alterations! Lovely Katrina is a magician with her pins, scissors and needles, so your dress is in safe hands. See below for some questions and answers about the alterations process here at Rachel Ash.

Alteration FAQs

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions when it comes to wedding dress alterations.

: It depends how much you are having altered but standard alterations start from £250, the more work the higher the cost as more hours are required to alter your gown.
: We will get in touch with you to arrange your alterations, we usually allow 12 weeks which gives us enough time for at least 2 appointments with Katrina, and a final try on to ensure you are happy ahead of your big day.
: With Katrina the possibilities are endless (almost!) – so if you would like a neckline or strap changed on a dress, or would like a bespoke top, cape, overskirt, jacket (the list goes on!) creating – get in touch and we can arrange an appointment for you to discuss with Katrina. We will also be there to offer guidance and advice if required.
